The Tuxerhof is a self-catering cottage on Lake Achensee in Tyrol—not a hotel. Guests rent the entire house, which features several living rooms and a fully equipped kitchen, and prepare their own meals. It’s ideal for families, groups of friends, clubs, parties, seminars, and workations. The modern Chalet Tuxer can also be rented as an additional accommodation option.
Is that the Tuxerhof in Hintertux, or the Hotel Tuxerhof in the Zillertal?
No. The Ferienhaus Tuxerhof is located in Achenkirch on Lake Achensee and is a family-run, self-catering vacation home owned by Doris and Leo Brunner. It has no connection to the Alpin-Spa Hotel of the same name, “Tuxerhof,” in Hintertux in the Zillertal—different location, different establishment, different owners.
How many people can the Tuxerhof accommodate?
The Ferienhaus Tuxerhof offers space for up to 25 guests across 7 bedrooms (including a vacation apartment) in a 300 m² area. If the separate Chalet Tuxer (for up to 5 people) is also rented, the property can accommodate up to 30 guests in total.
Are meals included?
No. The Tuxerhof is a self-catering cottage—you’ll be cooking your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Upon request, we’ll bring fresh bread from the village bakery to the cottage in the morning.
